Unijos V-C Honoured During Visit To Mass Communication Department, Commisssions New Studio and Library.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos, Professor Ishaya Tanko, visited the Department of Mass Communication to commission its newly constructed studio and library. The event, held at the Faculty of Social Sciences, saw the presence of   dignitaries from government parastatals, lecturers, senior lecturers, Heads of Departments, and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, among others. Senior lecturers of the Department of  Mass Communication Professor Ishaya Tanko, who received several awards, expressed gratitude to the department for the respect accorded to him. He also acknowledged the presence of the Minister for Sports and praised the current administration for its unwavering support to the university. The Faculty of art student Association officially welcomes new students of 2022/2023 section to campus during its orientation ceremony. The event which took place at the Aliyu Akwe Doma indoor theater of the Naraguta campus university of Jos, had in attendance the Dean of FASA Dr. Isaac Lar who was represented by the Deputy Dean Dr. Jumai makpu, the Faculty officer, Mr kopte Gwokat, Dr. Adhijo and other senior lecturers from the Faculty of art. The Faculty president Aaron kolo, Members of FASA parliament, and other Excos were also present at the event.
