Do you know that university of Jos has  one the longest pedestrian bridge in West Africa?

The bridge which was constructed in 2015 is ment to serve as a link between Naraguta campus site and village hostel.

Speaking with Emmanuel jehu a 300level  student of mass communication who moves on that lane on a regular basis, says it will take up to 5 to 7 minutes to walk through the bridge movinvg on a fast paste.

The bridge Is seen crowded with students  who are always in haste to get to class on time in the morning and get back home after school hour.

This path is usually desarted during the day when all students are already settled in their various classes and weekend when student don't go for lectures

Emmanuel jehu speaking on how secured the path is at night said one needs to be careful walking alone on that path

" Although it's been a while  now since I walk through that path at night but the last time I walk through that path at night it was okay nothing happened".

S.U.G Inaugural Program: Unijos Students Should Be Priority, - V.C.

Sambo Peter officially assumed office as the new president of the University of Jos Students' Union Government (SUG), following his victory in the recently concluded elections. The inauguration ceremony, held at the Social Science Faculty Hall, Naraguta Campus, saw Peter and other elected executives sworn into office amidst distinguished guests including the Vice-Chancellor, the Dean of Students Affairs, ASUU chairman for UNIJOS chapter, representatives from the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) UNIJOS Zone C chapter, lecturers, members of the parliament, and other dignitaries.
