2 DEAD OTHERS INJURED OVER PALLIATIVE

Two students of the Nasarawa State University Keffi lost their lives, while others were injured in a stampede at the school's convocation square. The tragic incident occurred today, as students attempted to illegally obtain food items at the distribution site.

According to a 400-level student who requested anonymity, the incident was caused by a rush to get access to the bags of rice, which had not yet been distributed.

“They haven't started sharing the palliative, the governor was yet to come,  Students on their own went to force down the gate while some jumped over the fence to collect the rice themselves due to this there was commotion and some students were pushed down resulting to injury and sadly death"

He added that this palliative distribution was successful in other Tertiary institutions the governor had visited but theirs at NSUK turned out differently.

According to a circular released by the school security task force, which was signed by Sen. Bawa lucky, it confirmed that  there were casualties, and the exact number of fatalities will be released at a later time.

Born in France but a citizen of Nigeria, Pierre Eugene Meunier is a poet and playwright who has authored several books, including "The Comedy of Marriage," "The Last Slave Traders," and "John Briggs Parades." "Zumji and Uchenna" is a narrative plot that centers on tribalism and love. The writer uses simple yet descriptive terms to tell the story of the pain many Nigerians experience due to ethnic differences. The two main characters, Zumji and Uchenna, stand up for their love despite tribal differences, fighting opposition from their parents and relatives. Just when they think their love has prevailed, calamity strikes. What begins as a joyful and promising white wed...
